The tile work that we did. I learned a lot from this experience. Never do light tile and/or light grout again. It will NEVER stay clean. Black tile and grout, totally awesome.
I need to take some photos of what we've been doing in the new house. We are completely moved in, but we are not unpacked. I have stuff that still needs a home and pictures to hang. Plus we need to carpet the bedroom and eventually redo the kitchen.

The many incarnations of the dining room. Gads, I hated those light fixtures. Too bad there aren't any pics of the horrible valances and blinds. Those were the first to go.



We will miss that light fixture. We wanted to take it with us, but it's ridiculously heavy and required a scaffold to hang it.

December 31st brought us a lucky end to the year. We put the house on the market and within a week we had an offer. Even though we only got to enjoy the improvements for a short while, I believe they helped tremendously with the sale of the house. We will miss the Upham house.
